Austin is really close to getting his eagle...i think it is life something. i dont know much about scouting. also he has hit a growth spurt. and now i feel like it is probably a good time to mention that he is taller than me.

Austin had his 14th birthday on January 30th and we surprised him with a trip to The GREAT WOLF LODGE! Seriously, that place is so much fun. I love water slides. Anyways, we told Austin we were planning to go to our grandma's house which is 20 minutes after the exit for the lodge. I told my dad I had to go to the bathroom and couldn't hold it for another 20 - 30 minutes. He took the exit and pulled into a gas station. I was like there is no way you are getting me to go in there when the lodge is down the street. So we walk in and I have my camera. There is a giant tree in the lobby and I'm like Austin lets take a picture for grandma.
